These texts do not begin with me but with the visual artist Hanna Sjöstrand, and an email arriving in her mailbox 05/08/2025:

Your application for the residency programme at Lusaka Contemporary Art Centre has been assessed by OCA’s international jury and we are very pleased to inform that you have been selected as the final recipient for this residency. OCA will take direct contact with you with further details regarding the grant and the programme.

I myself don't appear until nine months later:
